I originally got in touch with Carys to help with my energy levels, stress and anxiety. I'd had Glandular Fever, and still felt I wasn't fully back to myself after more than a year; trying to cope and find balance in life whilst being a teacher was difficult. Before I even met Carys, I had a chat with her on the phone; she spent a long time listening to my past and spoke a bit about her experience and how she got into acupuncture. I already felt so comfortable and was looking forward to meeting her. The sessions did not disappoint. I had never had acupuncture before, and this started to make a real difference to my energy levels, so I started seeing Carys regularly. Carys is an expert in fertility and, given my age and the fact that I knew at some point I wanted children, she suggested I go for a blood test to check my ovarian reserves. The results were not what I hoped, and were very low, but Carys was a huge support and was positive about next steps. She immediately came round and discussed options. I completely trust Carys' experience and expertise, and we decided to start trying naturally with acupuncture instead of going straight for IVF. Six months later, with regular sessions helping my body find balance, energy and calm, I found out I am pregnant! And I truly believe, in fact I know, it would not have happened without Carys. I will forever be thankful! I want to make it clear that Carys' sessions are not just about acupuncture; she is very understanding, empathetic and calm. She has helped me emotionally and always asks how I am and what's been going on, so she can tailor the sessions to my needs.
